Liverpool FC among customers left in lurch by Forum collapse

 Liquidators to Bill Papas’ Forum group of companies are eyeing a sale of waste company Iugis, which has a host of high profile customers including Liverpool Football Club, despite concerns it may have received millions from an alleged $400 million fraud.

Iugis is one of the many subsidiaries within Mr Papas’s large business empire which is now being broken up and sold by liquidators who were brought in to investigate allegations Mr Papas had orchestrated a major fraud on Westpac by impersonating its customers.

Sydney news: Snowy Mountains business owners worried by extended Sydney lockdown

 The impacts of Greater Sydney's lockdown will be felt in the Snowy Mountains region for years to come, one business owner says.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian extended the lockdown by four weeks yesterday, prompting more cancellations for the rest of the snow season. 

In Jindabyne, Birchwood Cafe owner Laura Stamp said the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak was forcing some businesses to close.

Berejiklian issues stern warning to would-be protesters as NSW records 170 new community cases

 With New South Wales today recording 170 locally acquired cases of COVID-19, the state's Premier Gladys Berejiklian has warned protesters planning to demonstrate against lockdowns in Sydney this weekend that they are putting lives at risk.

"Can I please warn against anybody taking up illegal activity and protesting tomorrow - you could be taking the disease home and passing it onto your parents, your siblings, your brothers and sisters," she said.

"Do not give the ones you love the most a death sentence.
